Dr. Wally Renne and Dr. Mike DeFee founded The MOD Institute in 2020 to close the gap between dental research and everyday clinical practice. Our dental continuing education draws on more than 30 published studies, and it’s taught on the same Charleston campus as MOD Aesthetics, our own private practice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Our in-person dental CE courses list their CE credit hours on each course page. 3D Printing Foundations, for example, awards 15 CE hours on completion, split across operative dentistry, fixed prosthetics, and removable prosthetics, along with a certificate of completion.
Our dentist continuing education courses are built for dentists who want to bring digital workflows into their practice. Some courses welcome other dental professionals too. Our dental 3D printing course, for instance, is also open to laboratory technicians, design teams, and dental assistants.
It depends on the course. Our 3D Printing Foundations has no prerequisites and welcomes all experience levels, and The MOD Institute provides all equipment, materials, and software licenses during training. Check each course page for its specific requirements.
Yes.
