    Terms of Use

    By accessing and using The MOD Institute website (themodinstitute.com) and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

    All content, including but not limited to course materials, videos, PDFs, STL files, and clinical guides, is the intellectual property of WRMDSV I LLC d/b/a The MOD Institute. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sharing of any content is strictly prohibited.

    Course registrations are subject to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

    The MOD Institute is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

    Information We Collect

    Account Information

    Name, email address, and phone number provided during registration.

    Billing & Shipping Address

    Collected for course registration and product orders.

    Payment Information

    Processed securely through our PCI-compliant payment providers, including Stripe and Apple (for In-App Purchases). We do not store full card details. In-App Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy.

    Course & Activity Data

    Your progress, completions, and CE certificate records within the app.

    Device Information

    Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

    Usage Data

    Features used, screens viewed, session duration, and interaction patterns.

    How We Use Your Information

    • Improve the app and educational services.
    • Detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

    Cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, and customer support — all contractually bound to protect your data.

    In connection with a merger or acquisition. You will be notified of any such change.

    We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our Services.

    When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention or regulatory compliance. We will clearly inform you of any such retained data at the time of your deletion request.

    • Payment transactions processed through PCI-compliant systems.
    • Strict access controls limiting who can access your data.

    No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    Request deletion of your account and data (see Section 07).

    Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email.

    Data Portability

    Request your data in a machine-readable format.

    Withdraw Consent

    Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw at any time.

    Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

    The MOD Institute offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the App Store (In-App Purchase) and through our website (Stripe). By subscribing, you agree to the following:

    Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

    MOD PRO is available as an auto-renewable monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (for App Store purchases) or your payment method on file (for website purchases) at confirmation of purchase.

    Renewal & Cancellation

    Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

    Subscription Data

    We store your subscription status, payment source (App Store or Stripe), and subscription period dates to provide and manage your access to MOD PRO content. For App Store purchases, Apple processes the transaction and shares only the information necessary to verify your subscription status. We do not receive or store your Apple ID password or full payment details for In-App Purchases.

    Refunds

    App Store purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund for an App Store purchase, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Website subscription refunds are handled per our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

    Account Deletion

    You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through either of these methods:

    In the app

    Go to Account → Edit Profile → Delete Account and follow the on-screen steps.

    By email

    Email info@themodinstitute.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include the email address on your account.

    When your deletion is processed:

    • Your account and profile will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
    • Your course progress, activity data, and records will be deleted.
    • Any data legally required to be retained (e.g. billing records) will be disclosed to you and deleted when the retention period expires.

    This action is permanent. Account deletion cannot be reversed. Previously completed course records may not be recoverable after deletion.

    Children's Privacy

    Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with COPPA.

    If you believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, contact us at info@themodinstitute.com and we will delete it promptly.

    The app uses the following categories of third-party services:

    Payment Processing

    Stripe for website payments and Apple for In-App Purchase transactions. Both are PCI-compliant.

    Cloud Hosting

    Infrastructure for data storage and processing.

    Analytics

    Tools to understand usage and improve the app.

    Email & Communications

    Platforms for notifications and marketing messages.

    These services operate under their own privacy policies. The app may also link to third-party websites we do not control.
