The fundamentals of designing and printing and finishing of inlays, onlays, and crowns are reviewed in detail. Hands on experience with printing and finishing along with design basics.

DAY 2

Explore occlusal guard design in exocad. 3D printing tips and finishing of occlusal guards. Learn single unit implant crown design and finishing including bonding onto titanium tibase. Start smile design fundamentals.

Learn smile design in exocad, live patient demonstration and case. Learn how to transfer digital smile design to a printer prototype and trial smile.

Do I need to own specific technology to take this course?

No. Whether you are considering learning more about 3D printing or ceramic veneers in general, considering purchasing technology to get started in printing, or are currently printing in your practice, the materials in this course will apply and are technology agnostic. All software licenses are provided by The MOD Institute during training.

How much does it cost to bring a team member with me?

Courses at The MOD Institute are priced to be as economical as possible for hands-on learning with dedicated instructional guidance and support. Wally Renne DMD

Dr. Wally Renne is the founder of the MOD Institute and leads all learning and innovation initiatives at the organization. He is a contributing member of MOD Aesthetics, the private practice arm of MOD.

He previously served as a Professor and Assistant Dean of Innovation and Digital Dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina and has won several national and regional awards for his efforts both pre-clinically and clinically.

He is also an active dental researcher and has published over 30 studies on scan and milling accuracy using various systems. Dr. Renne also has several patents including a patent for a platform of long-term antimicrobial dental materials.

Dr. Allan Queiroz

Dr. Allan Queiroz is a lead instructor at The MOD Institute. He was previously the Technical director and founder of the Restorative Lab, Chile, Post-Graduate instructor at The Dental Institute of Americas and an instructor at La Frontera University.

Dr. Queiroz specializes in Implantology, Oral Rehabilitation and Smile Design. He is a certified exocad Trainer and Key Opinion Leader for exocad and Straumann.

He has pioneered online learning courses in the areas of Macro Photography, Adhesive Aesthetic Rehabilitation and Guided Implant Surgery and has been published in The Research, Society and Development Journal.

His passion for dentistry extends into visual storytelling and photography where he has pioneered concepts and lighting techniques to drive clinical education and patient understanding.
