Dr. Josh Eggebraaten is a general dentist at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center where he pioneered the implementation of digital dentistry. Since his GPR program in 2019, Josh has focused on learning, refining, and teaching digital workflows to VA staff and GPR residents. He has co-developed and delivered a webinar series for VA clinics within the Midwest to aid in implementing scanners, CAD software, 3D printers, and mills. 

Josh is highly proficient with 3Shape Dental System. By leveraging the efficiency of digital workflows, he currently designs and manufactures the majority of his lab cases.

Josh has presented our abstract at IADR, AADR, and AGD conferences and been recognized by the National VA in the area of treatment simulation modeling.

Dentistry is pivoting towards a future where computer assistance is the standard and integrated within all facets of care. From diagnostics and treatment planning to design and manufacturing, the way we care for our patients is rapidly evolving.
